HH Sheikha Moza meets UNESCO official

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, the UNESCO Special Envoy for Basic and Higher Education, met Sunday morning with the Director of the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Education in the Arab States in Beirut Dr. Abdul Munim Mohammed Osman.

During the meeting, they reviewed the bureau's activities and projects in Lebanon and the Arab region besides several issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by a number of specialists of the international and local programs affiliated to the UNESCO Regional Bureau.

Since its inception in 1961, the UNESCO Regional Bureau, played effortless role to promote for the human development in the framework of the culture of peace, tolerance, democracy and human rights, through the implementation of programs and projects launched by the UNESCO.​
